Isabel Preysler, his wife of over 30 years, and his three children - Chabeli, Julio, and Enrique - are often involved in his business ventures and philanthropic endeavors.

### Authentic Spanish Roots

Julio's passion for music was first ignited by his family's rich Spanish heritage. His father, Julio Iglesias Sr., was a successful businessman who owned a chain of gas stations in Spain.

"He was a very cosmopolitan man who traveled the world, and he brought back all these incredible stories and melodies that he'd heard on his travels," Iglesias recalls in an interview. "He'd sing them to me, and I was enchanted."

This exposure to diverse music styles and languages - from classical to flamenco - helped shape Iglesias' unique sound, which blends the best of traditional Spanish music with international flair.

### Philanthropy

As one of the most successful musicians of his generation, Iglesias has used his platform to give back to the community. He has been involved in various charitable organizations, including UNICEF, UN World Food Programme, American Red Cross and Save the Children.
